Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of seomentor.io and all related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Vignesh Anbalagan (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Kraków, Poland. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SEOMentor is a web-based SaaS platform that provides AI-powered technical SEO analysis, Core Web Vitals diagnostics, and website performance insights. The Service scans URLs you provide, retrieves data from third-party APIs (including Google PageSpeed Insights and Google Search Console), and uses AI to generate recommendations.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that results will be error-free.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@seomentor.io if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Plans

The Service is offered on a subscription basis with Free, Pro, and Agency plans. Plan details, including scan limits and features, are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the period ends. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

4.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro or Agency subscriptions. To request a refund within this period, email support@seomentor.io with your account email and reason. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. No refunds are issued after 7 days or for renewal charges.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change our subscription prices at any time. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase before it applies to your account.

5. Free Plan Limits

The free plan includes a limited number of scans and AI chat messages per month as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time. Excessive use of the free plan in ways that abuse the Service may result in account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Scan URLs you do not own or have permission to scan
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our source code, AI models, or proprietary systems
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use the Service to harvest or collect personal data about third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SEOMentor uses AI (including Claude by Anthropic and Google Gemini) to generate SEO recommendations, analysis, and content suggestions. AI-generated output is provided for informational purposes only.

  • We do not guarantee that AI recommendations are accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation.
  • You are solely responsible for any actions you take based on AI-generated recommendations.
  • AI responses may occasionally contain errors. Always verify critical recommendations independently.
  • We do not guarantee specific ranking improvements or traffic increases from following our recommendations.

8. Google Search Console Integration

If you connect your Google Search Console account, you grant us read-only access to your GSC data. You may disconnect this integration at any time from your account settings. We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI prompts, content, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9.2 Your Data

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service (URLs, website content analysed). You grant us a limited licence to process this data to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your websites or their content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not responsible for ranking changes, traffic losses, or business outcomes resulting from acting on our recommendations.
  • We are not liable for any third-party service outages (Google, Stripe, Clerk, etc.) that affect the Service.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. For consumers in the EU, you also retain any mandatory protections granted by the law of your country of residence.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally at support@seomentor.io. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may bring proceedings in the competent courts of Kraków, Poland.

EU consumers also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
