Google Analytics 4

See whether your rankings
actually turn into traffic.

Search Console tells you who found you. GA4 tells you what they did next. SEOMentor puts both in one place, and lets you connect a different Google account for each site you manage.

Two tabs, two stories, no conclusion

Without SEOMentor

Search Console says you got 4 clicks. GA4 says 108 sessions. Are the other 104 from referrals, direct, or social? You switch tabs, squint at two date pickers that don't quite align, and give up before you've answered the question.

With SEOMentor

Both datasets sit in the same report for the same site and the same window. You can see that organic drove 6 sessions while referral drove 83, and immediately know your SEO problem is visibility, not conversion.

What GA4 brings in

Pulled live from the Analytics Data API for whichever property you link to each site.

Sessions and users

Total sessions, unique users and new users for any window — 7, 28 or 90 days.

Traffic channels

Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Social and Paid, with session counts and percentage share.

Engagement

Engagement rate and average session duration, so you can tell whether traffic is actually reading anything.

Top pages by sessions

Which pages people actually land on and read, which often differs from what you assume.

Device breakdown

Desktop, mobile and tablet split, worth checking against your mobile speed score.

Multiple GA4 accounts

Each site links to its own Google account and property. Built for agencies with client properties spread across logins.

How it works

From URL to answer, in three steps

01

Connect the owning Google account

Click Connect GA on any site and choose the Google account that owns its GA4 property. Different sites can use different accounts.

02

Property matched automatically

SEOMentor reads the web data stream URL of each GA4 property and matches it to your site. If nothing matches exactly, you pick from a list.

03

Data appears in the Analytics tab

Sessions, channels, pages and devices show up on every scan for that site, and become available to Mentor AI and the MCP server.

The kind of thing it reveals

Real output, cross-referenced with Search Console.

108 sessions from 13 users, 532 pageviews, 76.9% engagement rate.

Referral drove 83 sessions (76.9%) — organic search only 6 (5.6%).

That 6 lines up with Search Console's 4 clicks, confirming organic is the weak channel, not the site.

94.5% of sessions are desktop — worth checking against a mobile speed score of 73.

Read-only, per site, revocable

Google Analytics Data API

Every metric comes straight from Google. Nothing is sampled, modelled or estimated by us.

Read-only scope

SEOMentor requests analytics.readonly. It cannot change property settings, create events, or modify anything in your GA4 account.

Unlink at any level

Disconnect a single site's property or an entire Google account from Settings. Access ends immediately.

All answers to your questions

Can I connect several GA4 accounts?
Yes. Each site maps to its own Google account and GA4 property, so you can manage client properties verified under different logins without disconnecting anything.
How does it know which property belongs to which site?
It reads the web data stream URL configured on each GA4 property and matches it to your site's domain. When there's no exact match you choose manually — useful for staging domains or www mismatches.
What permissions does it request?
Read-only analytics access plus your email address. It cannot modify your GA4 configuration or send data into your property.
Why don't my GA4 sessions match Search Console clicks?
They measure different things. Search Console counts clicks from Google Search only; GA4 counts sessions from every source. Organic sessions in GA4 should roughly track Search Console clicks, and a large gap usually means tracking or consent issues.
Does GA4 data feed the AI?
Yes. Once connected, Mentor AI can answer traffic and channel questions using your real numbers instead of generic advice, and the same data is available through the MCP server.
Is GA4 integration free?
Connecting is available on all plans. Higher plans allow more tracked sites, and therefore more connected properties.
